The Washroom Projects

at Filthy McNasty's 29th of January 2005

design toilets: Jay Rechsteiner
assistants: Jacqueline Mathys and Michael Harland

gents, ladies and disabled washrooms

It took us about two month... or three???... I can't remember but it was great fun painting in those smelly toilets. The design of the toilets was made on the spot, no preparation just simply doing what felt was the right thing to do. Jacqueline Mathys and Michael Harland were great assistant painter. Thanks a lot!

I filmed the whole making with my camcorder. What you can see is next to this text is the making of the gents. Janos Jersh made a documentary film about the event. He is more of a professional than me of course. In case you can't see a thing you need to download quick time player from the internet. Don't worry, it doesn't cost you a penny. Good luck.
