Gaischterhuus

Construction of a long hose-like house. The title is Swiss German and means Ghost House, a game I used to play: Building a ghost house with all sorts of material, mainly bed sheets, covers and furniture such as chairs, tables etc. The idea is to erect such a hose-like house in the middle of an exhibition/art show. Visitors are welcome to enter the house.

Art is an act of playing, telling stories. I would like to express this idea in a fun way with the installation Huus Schpille. With this piece of work I would like to re-connect with my past and create sort of a gateway between now - who I am now - and the time I was a child. This is a very personal piece of work.
